Ioseb Alavidze, a former top official at the Ministry of Internal Affairs in Tbilisi, is reportedly linked to a company that received a GEL 7.8 million contract from Georgian Railway. The tender reportedly required at least 20 years of uninterrupted experience, which appears to have given Intersecurity-Georgia an advantage. According to the national business register, it is reportedly the only company in Georgia with 20 years of experience in specialized security services.
